At the church ceremony, Do-hui (played by Song Hye-kyo) displays remarkable grace regarding the unexpected death of her fiancé. She even forgives the perpetrator—17-year-old Ji-min—and writes a petition to the judge on his behalf. However, her fiancé's older sister remains resentful, even accusing Do-hui of not punishing the killer. Before parting, the sister gives Do-hui a birthday gift, which plunges her into memories of her late husband: During a rainy night a year ago, her fiancé drove Do-hui home to celebrate her birthday. They reminisced about their happy moments during their relationship and felt immense joy. Unfortunately, this separation turned into a farewell. On that rainy night, her fiancé was killed in a collision with Ji-min's speeding motorcycle. Upon hearing the tragic news, Do-hui remained composed and restrained, not only forgiving Ji-min but also filming a documentary about forgiveness and supporting church activities aimed at abolishing the death penalty. During this period, she interviewed a variety of people, witnessing the many facets of human nature. When she learned of Ji-min's unfortunate circumstances, she was quite shocked…
