"Mass Effect: Paragon Lost" is a spin-off theatrical animated film of the "Mass Effect" series. It mainly tells the story of Protheans and Prinze Junior. The film is adapted from the prequel to the latest installment "Mass Effect 3," featuring a new character from the game, Alliance Marine James Vega, as the protagonist. He leads an elite special team in combat against the mysterious alien threat, The Collectors. On a colonized planet in a distant galaxy, an external invasion captures numerous civilians for unknown purposes, and James Vega and his team must protect the civilians during their evacuation... The animation is set to be released later this year. The animation is produced by the internationally renowned Japanese animation company Production I.G, with Atsushi Takeuchi as the director. Takeuchi previously worked on animations such as "GHOST IN THE SHELL" and "Airborne Killer."
