In the tropical jungle called Emuna, the small elephant Horton (voiced by Jim Carrey) lives freely with his friends. One day, a speck of dust intrudes into Horton's world. As the dust passes in front of him, he seems to hear a faint cry for help. After a chaotic chase, Horton finally finds the speck of dust on a flower. It turns out that there is a "Whoville" on the dust, where the local people once lived in peace and happiness, but a fallen fruit has knocked the dust containing "Whoville" off the clover flower into the sky. This incident leads to various strange occurrences in "Whoville," which is about to celebrate its centennial. By chance, the mayor of the town, Ned McDodd, manages to get in touch with Horton. To restore stability to the town, Horton decides to take them back to their original world... This film is adapted from the Dr. Seuss's book of the same name.
