In contemporary Japan, three former classmates experience the bitterness of life in their own ways. The seemingly happy housewife Tomoko Koyama (played by Honami Suzuki) works tirelessly but receives no attention or respect from her family; music producer Kaoru Kurokawa (played by Reiko Takashima) works hard, sacrificing her own happiness just to earn her mother's approval; Harumi Akasaka (played by Maki Sakai) struggles at the bottom of society, fighting for survival with her own hands. One day, Tomoko unexpectedly discovers that the popular idol singer Sion (played by Masahiro Higashide) bears a striking resemblance to her high school classmate Ayanokoji Hanabusa. Soon, she and her two friends reunite at Hanabusa's invitation. It turns out that Hanabusa has the power of eternal youth, and he is willing to help these three disheartened women return to their youthful days, allowing them to take control of their lives once again… The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Miyu Kaki.
