The victims of two murder cases are killed as if in a movie plot, and the killer may be a crazy movie fan. Female officer Fen requests her superior Chow to find psychologist Dr. Xie to assist in the case. Xie, who is blind, points out during the investigation that Fen had an unhappy childhood, leading her to have violent tendencies; Fen, not wanting to be seen through, retorts that Xie is isolated at home, disconnected from the outside world, which is a sign of lack of confidence, and they part ways unhappily.
