Dog Pushak has always dreamed of becoming an astronaut and going to space like his parents, but his mother, Becca, believes that space travel is too dangerous. She not only forbids her son from becoming an astronaut but also returns to the circus with her good friend Citrika. Meanwhile, a mysterious beam of light appears on Earth, sucking up buildings, statues, cars, ships, and people's belongings into space. Pushak's father, Kazbek, is ordered to ride a rocket to the moon to investigate this mysterious light source, but once he arrives, communication with Earth is lost.
