The story takes place in the picturesque Baihua Village, where a boy named Ma Liang (played by Shao Yichen) lives. Although mischievous, Ma Liang loves to paint and has considerable talent. One day, the arrival of the general (voiced by Meng Xianglong) and the young emperor (voiced by Wang Xiaotong) disrupts the peaceful atmosphere of the village.
