Continuing the story from the previous installment, lion Alex (voiced by Ben Stiller), zebra Marty (voiced by Chris Rock), giraffe Melman (voiced by David Schwimmer), hippopotamus Gloria (voiced by Jada Pinkett Smith), and the penguins make modifications to an old crashed plane to leave Madagascar and successfully take off.
