Apollo (voiced by Justin Long) is a cricket and an artist on a journey. One day, Apollo arrives at a mysterious garden, where he must work hard to earn the right to stay, all while dealing with the scheming wasp Wendy (voiced by Laurie Hymes) who wants to frame him. On this day, Apollo encounters Queen Margaret (voiced by Kate Mara), and they enjoy a joyful day of walking and singing together. However, the bandit moth Sphinx (voiced by Ryan Nicolls) kidnaps Margaret, and Wendy seizes the opportunity to usurp power and take the throne. To rescue Margaret, Apollo stands up and engages in a struggle with Wendy alongside Margaret's friends.
