Gray (voiced by JB Blanc) is a handsome and arrogant wolf who dreams of becoming the leader of the wolf pack. Old Ji is Gray's strong rival, competing for the position of wolf king, and they decide to duel to settle their competition. On the eve of the duel, Gray accidentally falls under a spell and transforms into a sheep. He has to leave the wolf pack and live among the sheep. Taking advantage of the old wolf king's unawareness, Old Ji pushes him off a cliff to claim the position of wolf king. A little sheep escapes to the northern grasslands and is captured by the wolf pack, but Gray saves it. This action angers Old Ji, who decides to attack the sheep flock. When Gray learns that the wolf pack plans to assault the sheep, he resolves to lead the sheep in their struggle against the wolves. During the construction of their defenses, Gray is discovered to have ties with the wolf pack, causing him to lose the trust of the others. He must leave the sheep flock alone, and on his journey, he discovers an opportunity to regain his wolf form; however, upon learning that the wolf pack is about to attack the sheep, he relinquishes the chance to transform back and resolutely returns to the flock, leading them to victory against the wolves.
