Once, a meteorite that fell from the sky nearly wiped out all life on Earth, but it also opened a new era. Seven thousand years have passed in the blink of an eye, and brave entrepreneur John (voiced by Mark Deklin) travels to the African jungle with his wife and son to search for the meteorite's remnants. John believes that the energy attached to the meteorite can solve the global energy crisis that has plagued the world for years. Unfortunately, a tragic accident takes John's and his wife's lives, leaving their young son Tarzan (voiced by Kellan Lutz) lost in the vast African jungle. Fortunately, a group of kind gorillas rescues Tarzan, taking him in and raising him. Years pass in the blink of an eye, and Tarzan grows into a strong and healthy young man, having learned the skills of climbing and swinging through the trees in the gorilla community. One day, Tarzan encounters a human girl named Jane (voiced by Spencer Locke), the first human he has ever met.
