In the deep sea of the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, clownfish father Marlin and his son Nemo live a simple and happy life. However, Marlin is often hesitant and timid, which makes Nemo think his father is not brave and even look down on him a bit. Little Nemo, fearless and adventurous, ends up being caught in a fishing net while playing at the surface with his friends and gets sold to a dentist's office. Marlin is very worried about his son's fate and, despite typically being cautious, decides to be brave for Nemo's sake. Along the way, he faces many challenges and fears that make him quite timid. Fortunately, he meets the kind Dory, who accompanies him on his journey. Both father and son receive a lot of heartfelt help and ultimately reunite, with Marlin becoming a hero in the hearts of his son and others.
