Three girls born on Valentine's Day in 1983 have vastly different destinies, with the story unfolding around the events on their 22nd birthday. The wealthy heiress Lei Lei (Ren Jiaxuan) is left bewildered when her stepfather Zhou Jianlong (Xu Nailin) suddenly dies of a heart attack during her birthday celebration, shocking her who is usually carefree. Before his death, Zhou left a will, allocating most of his estate to his missing biological daughter Zhou Xiaono (Tian Fuzhen).
