In 1999, a cutting-edge spacecraft crashed on an island in the South Pacific, marking a turning point in the war-torn history of Earth. After a decade of research, humanity repaired and rebuilt the ship, naming it "Robotech." Just as humanity basked in pride and joy, the Zentraedi from deep within the galaxy approached Earth. This led to the emergence of Captain Gloval, Rick, and Max, along with the robot rulers from Teyland and the ATAC15 squad led by Lynn Minmei, sparking the Second Robotech War. Then came the battle for Earth between the space-colonizing humans and the Invid, who survived on prehistoric energy. Three consecutive wars in space saw countless heroes arise, showcasing the epic conflict between humans and aliens that lasted over half a century... The film is an 85-episode long animated series re-edited and adapted by Harmony Gold based on the three Japanese animations: "Macross," "Mospeada," and "Genesis Climber Mospeada."
