"The Third Charm" tells the story of a new "third charm" that shines in the eyes of two individuals who may not be special, but become entangled over the seasons of love during their 12 years together—experiencing spring at 20, summer at 27, and autumn at 32. Xu Kang-jun plays the reality-type model student, On Joon-young, from another dimension, while Lee Soo plays the impulsive and passionate woman, Lee Young-chae. On Joon-young is an unconventional, meticulous, and planned individual, sensitive yet grounded in reality. With his thick glasses, stiff jeans, white socks, and spotless sneakers, if one were to define the 20-year-old Joon-young, it would be "the epitome of a model student." He attends his first-ever group date to meet the required number of participants, where he encounters the loud and meddlesome Young-chae, resulting in his one and only romance that didn't follow his meticulously crafted plan. On the other hand, Lee Young-chae is a charming woman who is impulsive, passionate, and spontaneous. Orphaned and living with her brother, her goal is to work hard and become wealthy while others play. At 20, she gives up university to become a beauty assistant, officially stepping into society. Her first "campus life" experience is at a group date she reluctantly attends with friends, where she meets Joon-young, a man who is her complete opposite.
