This drama is a prequel to "Tale of the Nine-Tailed," telling the story of the ghoulish hunting adventures of the Nine-Tailed Fox who crash-lands in the 1930s. It depicts the process of Lee Yeon (Lee Dong-wook) becoming a mountain god and the story of Lee Rang (Kim Bum) which was not explored in the first season.
