Iridatsu Yuta (voiced by Marina Inoue) is just an ordinary high school boy, quiet and unassuming. By an accident, he unexpectedly experiences an out-of-body experience and ends up in an apartment named Kuraikan. To regain his physical body, Yuta must find the sacred text hidden within the apartment, and thus, this small apartment becomes Yuta's entire world. The adorable and popular idol Natsukino Mikari (voiced by Sora Amamiya), the gaming-obsessed Akiyoko (voiced by Minako Kotobuki), the unattractive but super hacker Taijuharu Akari (voiced by Rie Kugimiya), and the medium Chichibu Labura (voiced by Haruka Tomatsu), who doesn’t believe in ghosts, all reside in Kuraikan, each with their quirky and distinct personalities. While searching for the sacred text, Yuta's mysterious past gradually comes to light.
