Mitoya Chiyo (voiced by Naomi Ozora) is an ordinary high school first-year student at Jōjima Academy. Her appearance, personality, and grades can only be described as unremarkable; however, Chiyo herself enjoys this low-key and leisurely state. At home, Chiyo is a standard gaming enthusiast, always immersed in various Western role-playing games. Chiyo lives not far from school, so she walks to school every day. Strangely, every day on Chiyo's way to school, it seems that something is obstructing her from reaching her destination. There are countless incidents and troubles, but Chiyo always manages to resolve the crises with her resilience. Along with Chiyo are her childhood friends, the mutually annoyed Nonomura Manan (voiced by Chika Omigawa) and track and field ace Hosokawa Yuki (voiced by Kaede Hondo), among others.
