Maki Makikasa (voiced by Saki Miyashita) is an honest and extremely introverted girl. Because she doesn't like to talk, she doesn't have many friends in her life, and she thought this lonely time would accompany her until graduation. Until one day, by chance, Maki encounters a girl named Ayaka Takayashiki (voiced by Marika Takano). Ayaka's personality is the complete opposite of Maki's; she is expressive and cheerful, with her emotions clearly showing on her face. Led by Ayaka, Maki experiences board games for the first time. The cheerful after-school times of the girls begin at a board game shop called Dice Club, featuring the calm and organized class president Midori Ohno (voiced by Miu Tomita) and the transfer student Emilia (voiced by Mao Ichimichi), a beautiful girl from Germany with the goal of becoming a board game designer.
