Sei (voiced by Ishikawa Yui) is a 20-year-old office lady who is somewhat obsessed with her work. One day, after finishing her overtime, she accidentally gets transported to another world and becomes a saint there. Along with Sei, others are also transported, and feeling neglected, Sei decides to temporarily set aside her duties as a saint and runs out of the palace to begin a life of her own choosing. Sei loves plants very much, and because of this passion, she conceals her identity and goes to work at a herbal medicine research institute, where she meets the kind director John (voiced by Eguchi Takuya) and her mentor Jude (voiced by Yashiro Taku).
