Shana (voiced by Hitomi Ohwada) has lived in a "research facility" since childhood and has never stepped into the outside world. She possesses superpowers that allow her to change surrounding objects at will, and thus is treated as a "dangerous item" and heavily monitored. One day, unable to endure it any longer, Shana escapes from the research facility and is soon chased by the organization. With nowhere to go, she encounters an old man named Kōroku Chōmura (voiced by Akio Ōtsuka), who kindly takes her in. Kōroku lives a dependent life with his granddaughter Sanae (voiced by Ai Kayano), and with the addition of a girl in the house, their life suddenly becomes lively. Along with Shana, there is also the free-spirited and carefree Hinakaze Asahi (voiced by Natsumi Fujiwara) and her twin sister Hinakaze Yachiyo (voiced by Akari Kitō). The girls must face the relentless pursuit of researchers and their complex identities.
