The brash and carefree girl, Sazayama Hana (voiced by Kanako Miyamoto), unexpectedly proposes to create a manga monthly magazine without any prior experience. She recruits her middle school friend, the meticulous and professional Torii Aki (voiced by Yuri Komagata), threatening to expose Aki's "dark history" from her student days in order to compel her to serve as the vice president of the editorial department. Following this, the snack-loving Uramaki Ruru (voiced by Moemi Ohtaka) and the innocent and timid Nishijima Ringo (voiced by Ayaka Ohashi) join, officially forming the four-member editorial team of Comic Earthstar. As is often the case, starting is hard, especially without relevant experience, and the girls begin nervously planning their inaugural issue. From drafting budgets, print runs, contacting authors, and cover photography, to tracking manuscripts and entering text, they face a series of mundane tasks that manga fans usually don't see, making every day challenging for aspiring manga creators, as the adorable girls push forward with all their might...
