Seina Izumi (voiced by Dainagatsu Tsubasa) comes from a family of entertainers; his parents and brother are all popular star artists, while Izumi is just an ordinary university student and an introverted, gloomy otaku who dreams of becoming a manga artist. This personality stems from an advertisement shoot ten years ago, where Izumi was unexpectedly cast as a flower girl, partnering with the boy flower boy, Ryoma Ichijo (voiced by Eguchi Takuya). A failure during the shoot made Izumi fear the entertainment industry, while Ryoma found great success, becoming a hot idol star, all while Izumi remained infatuated with the weeping little flower girl. Ten years later, Izumi receives another advertisement invitation, with Ryoma as his partner once again. Initially wanting to refuse, Izumi is persuaded by his family to don a female costume again.
