The debut work of Sakurazaka Hiro, "Easy to Understand Modern Magic," is a popular light novel illustrated by Miyashita Miki and published by Shueisha's Super Dash Bunko. It was a finalist for the Second Shueisha Super Dash Bunko Newcomer Award. Currently, a TV anime adaptation of this work is in production, scheduled to premiere in July 2009. The story begins with a clumsy girl named Morishita Rimi, who often trips for no reason, has slower reflexes than average, and possesses a modest appearance akin to her chest. Rimi stumbles upon a flyer and declares, "I want to change myself!" She decides to learn modern magic from the top magician, Misaki, but Rimi casts magic in an unusual way, even summoning monsters from another world!? At this moment, the world starts to undergo strange changes influenced by internet magic. Accompanied by the silver-haired genius magical girl Yumi and the computer-savvy high school girl Kaho, Rimi's adventure begins...
