The rich乡绅 Ren Fa (played by Huang Xia) had his father who, through threats and temptations, acquired a piece of feng shui land years ago. After being advised by a feng shui master, his father was exhumed and reburied twenty years later for the benefit of his descendants. However, Uncle Jiu (played by Lam Ching Ying) discovered that the feng shui master harbored personal grudges against the Ren family, having tampered with the burial site, which led to the old man's body undergoing decomposition twenty years later.
