Kanai (voiced by Ai Kayano) became an orphan at a young age, and now, even her grandmother, who had been her sole companion, has left her. Faced with this strange and dangerous society, where should the little Kanai go? By chance, the homeless Kanai moves into a newspaper sales point called "Fengxin," where she will work part-time to pay her rent. In the newspaper office, Kanai meets many kind and cheerful friends. She admires the talented elementary school student acting as the president, Saki Amano (voiced by Kaori Mizuhara).
