Chitose Karasuma (voiced by Chihiro Sakurai) has an adorable appearance that everyone loves, but inside, she harbors a darkness and contempt for humanity that are miles apart from her looks. Chitose wants to become a voice actress, and to achieve her dream, she joins a voice acting agency, only to discover it is a dark world filled with competition and deceit. Surrounding her are fellow voice actors with similar dreams: the naturally disliked Kuga Yae (voiced by Fumi Nikaido), the lively and cheerful Kansai dialect sister Katsuragi Kyo (voiced by Yui Ishikawa), the proud and arrogant rich girl Moeka Hyaka (voiced by Eri Suzuki), and the ambitious Shizaki Matsuha (voiced by Saori Onishi) who is never satisfied with the status quo and always wants to go higher.
