A Japanese airline conceived a special wine project aimed at passengers. At the request of her superiors, international flight attendant Miho Saito (played by Kyoko Fukada) takes on the important task of going to New York to select wines. Having no knowledge of wine at all, Miho requests the assistance of Tomoko Hayami (played by Ikue Sakakibara), a certified sommelier. After a long flight, she, Tomoko, and movie-enthusiast flight attendant Kenta Watanabe (played by Miori Takimoto), who is flying to New York for the first time, finally arrive at their destination, and the three women enjoy a rare holiday together. They visit various wineries, but despite the dazzling array of options, they are unable to make a decision. By chance, the three are taken by a trading company owner, Shigeru Nakano (played by Akira Takarada), to an obscure winery, Bema Winery, where they unexpectedly find a satisfactory wine. Though this winery has a small production, it boasts an unforgettable taste and is now facing the fate of being acquired by a large corporation.
The three girls celebrate with Mr. Nakano at a hotel in the evening, but when they wake up the next morning, they find Nakano dead in bed. Was it an accident? Or murder?
