Kurozuna Masanao (played by Shotaro Mamiya) is a small-time thug living at the bottom of society. He has no family, no registration, and no job, living a life as humble as an ant caught in a crevice. One day, Masanao witnesses a man named Ebisu Daikichi (played by Kiyohiko Shurukawa) hiding a mysterious package in a locker, which he takes as his chance for a turnaround. Masanao steals the package, only to find a cold, hard drive inside. In reality, this hard drive contains an astonishing secret that leads Masanao to be hunted by the yakuza, ultimately becoming a prisoner. In jail, he meets a prostitute (played by Erina Mizuno), and they decide to team up to escape. With the help of Masanao's friend Inoshigami Kurahiko (played by Jun Murakami), they gain a brief moment of freedom but are soon recaptured.
