The story takes place in an imaginary world where "dreams" are a source of power, and for the residents, dreams are extremely important. However, a type of monster known as "Dream Eater" has appeared, feeding on dreams and becoming the greatest and deadliest threat in this world. The female protagonist accidentally travels to this world and becomes the hope for saving it; she must awaken the sleeping princes and use their strength to fend off the monsters. The princes include the serious yet warm-hearted Avi (voiced by Kenichi Suzumura), the simple and cute yet sometimes slightly willful Shinata (voiced by Ayumi Murase), the mature and composed Baiye with a beautiful appearance (voiced by Shoutarou Morikubo), and the timid and weak yet unexpectedly strong Ziyu (voiced by Souichiro Hoshi), who successively appear by the protagonist's side.
