Tanaka (voiced by Kensho Ono) is a student in Class 1-F. Weak and frail, he has a delicate face resembling that of a girl, speaks in a soft voice, and often falls asleep halfway through his sentences due to exhaustion. No matter when, Tanaka always looks drowsy and confused, avoiding any troublesome matters in his life. The somewhat intimidating Ota (voiced by Yoshimasa Hosoya) is often mistaken for a delinquent, but in reality, he takes on the role of "caretaker" for Tanaka, providing him with care and enjoying it.
