In July 2012, at the 38th reunion of Busan Gwangan High School, 33-year-old Jeong Shi-won (played by Jung Eun-ji), who has been a television writer for 10 years, reminisces with her old friends about their tumultuous high school days filled with youthful exuberance. The narrative unfolds around Shi-won's family and her friends, gradually revealing memories intertwined in a layered storytelling. Going back to 1997, when Shi-won was 18 and an ardent fan of H.O.T, she had parents who argued but deeply loved each other, and she was unknowingly protected by her childhood friend Yoon Yoon-jae (played by Seo In-guk). The two are surrounded by a group of friends, including Kang Joon-hee (played by Lee Howon), Do Hak-chan (played by Eun Ji-won), and others with diverse personalities, while Yoon-jae’s talented older brother, Tae-young (played by Song Jong-ho), serves as their mentor.
