Haruka Takayama and her friend Yuu Sonoda have both entered Misaki West High School, which is facing closure in three years due to merging with another school. Haruka, who has feelings for Yuu, feels jealous and possessive as Yuu quickly becomes close with other classmates. Haruka wants to become Yuu's "special" friend, and later, upon realizing Haruka's feelings, Yuu proposes that they do "things that they won't do with anyone else."
