The new semester begins, and various clubs are actively recruiting new members. The powerful tennis club of Seishun Academy welcomes a new student, Ryoma Echizen (voiced by Junko Minagawa), who has returned from America. Despite his small stature, Ryoma has a strong presence and a somewhat aloof personality, which draws the dissatisfaction of the upperclassmen. However, after some competition, they realize Ryoma's true exceptional skills. Even though he is a first-year, he is selected as a formal team member, aiming directly for the national tournament. The members of the tennis club each possess their own abilities and personalities, including the always-smiling Oishi (voiced by Takahiro Kondo), the overly caring Ootori (voiced by Takahiro Kondo), Ryoma's friend Momoshiro (voiced by Masaya Onosaka), Momoshiro's rival Kaidou (voiced by Kohei Hiyama), the lively Kikumaru (voiced by Hiroki Takahashi), the data-driven Inui (voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda), and the strong captain Tezuka (voiced by Ryotaro Okiayu). With their diverse personalities, they gradually form a tacit understanding while battling various challenges from other schools. Their only goal is the championship title at the national tournament.
