The story takes place in the Yuga Academy, where the small but fiercely proud girl Ryoko Oogami (voiced by Shizuka Itou) is a member of a mysterious organization called the Student Mutual Aid Association. Among other members are the stalker Ryouji Morino (voiced by Miyu Irino), who suffers from scopophobia, the cute yet cunning Ringo Akai (voiced by Kanae Ito), the cross-dresser Liszt Kiriki (voiced by Hiroshi Nojima), and the mature and composed Alice Kiriki (voiced by Yui Horie), among others. The task of the aid association is to make those who need help owe them a favor in critical moments, and later force them to repay the debt when needed. Though this seemingly unreasonable and rough approach seems harsh, it is imbued with the good intentions of its members. To make the world a better place, Oogami and her seven companions work tirelessly every day.
