The story takes place in Hoshimi City, located in the suburbs of the Kanto region, which is famous for being "the best city to observe the annual meteor shower." At Hoshimi Talent Agency, the idol Nagase Mana (voiced by Kanda Sayaka) soars in the Idol Ranking Venus Project, winning continuously in performance battles. A few years later, the agency begins to recruit new idols, with Mana's younger sister Kotono (voiced by Tachibana Mira) and Kawasaki Sakura (voiced by Sugano Mai), who has a voice very similar to Mana's, being the most promising to replicate Mana's past glory.
