Lila (Keri Russell), an outstanding cellist; Louis (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), a wandering Irish singer. One enchanting moonlit night, the two meet. After a memorable evening, Lila's domineering father forces her to continue her concert journey. Disappointed by the absence of his lover, Louis leaves; meanwhile, Lila, realizing her lover is gone, waits heartbreakingly for the birth of her child. Months later, Lila suffers a car accident, and the baby dies. However, Lila's baby is actually alive, cruelly sent to an orphanage by her heartless father.
