In the afterlife, there is a law that requires all deceased to undergo seven trials within 49 days of their death—held in the realms of murder, laziness, deception, injustice, betrayal, violence, and familial ties. Only those who pass all seven trials and are declared innocent will have the opportunity for rebirth. Fortunate firefighter Kim Ja-hong sacrifices himself to save a girl during a fire.
