Li Qing (played by Fan Zhiwei) is severely reprimanded and expelled from school for inappropriate behavior with a same-sex classmate. His father (played by Ke Junxiong), who has always hoped for his son to enroll in a military academy, cannot bear the shame and drives him out of the house. As a result, he enters the dark kingdom surrounding the lotus pool at "New Park."
