After completing the biopic of Facebook founder with Sony Columbia, "The Social Network," David Fincher continues to collaborate with them to film a biographical movie about American chess master Bobby Fischer titled "Pawn Sacrifice." Bobby Fischer is an iconic figure in American chess, having represented the USA in defeating former world chess champion Boris Spassky of the Soviet Union at the 1972 World Chess Championship held in Reykjavik, Iceland. The screenplay for "Pawn Sacrifice" was written by Steven Knight, and producer Gail Katz has been planning this film with Columbia for several years; in addition to him, it is rumored that the lead actor Tobey Maguire will also serve as a producer.
