In the Middle Ages, alchemists paid a tremendous price to obtain the legendary Elixir of Immortality from the hands of demons. Anyone who drinks the Elixir, as its name suggests, will gain a body that will never die. The Elixir brought hope but also sparked unprecedented disasters, as individuals associated with it vanished one after another due to greed and self-interest. With the enforcement of Prohibition, the whereabouts of the Elixir gradually became a mystery. However, years later, rumors of its resurgence began to spread, stirring ripples in the underworld of New York. A talented young man, Lofi (voiced by Hiroyuki Yoshino), the immortal alchemist Alowa (voiced by Mitsuhiro Miyamoto), and the reckless couple Isaac (voiced by Masaya Onosaka) and Harvent (voiced by Shizuka Aoki) — individuals who had no previous connection — come together to search for the whereabouts of the Elixir of Immortality.
