Yukino Mikuharu (voiced by Ayaka Nanase) is an ordinary twenty-year-old girl who travels alone to the bustling metropolis of Tokyo, hoping to carve out a new path for herself. However, after being rejected by thirty companies during interviews, she finds herself at a loss about her future. In her moment of greatest confusion, Yukino receives an invitation from Kaneyama City to work there, where her position is unexpectedly "King." It turns out that Kaneyama City was once famous as a "mini-independent country," but after the economic bubble burst, it quickly became an overlooked ordinary tourist destination. Yukino's task is to serve as the president of the Kaneyama Tourism Association and revive the glory of Kaneyama City.
