Jacob (Josh Wiggins) is a typical rebellious teenager who loves heavy motorcycles and metal rock music, with anarchic crazy thoughts running through his mind every day. In life, Jacob is certainly a troublemaker, and eventually, his actions draw the attention of the American Child Protective Services. Jacob lives a dependent life with his younger brother, Wes (Deke Garner), and the protection agency believes Jacob's personality is unsuitable to be Wes's guardian, thus taking Wes away. Wes's departure suddenly makes Jacob realize the importance of family, so he seeks out their biological father, Hollis (Aaron Paul), a man who has long deteriorated into a state of drunkenness and neglects his responsibilities as a father. Jacob and Hollis decide to work together to regain custody of Wes.
