An adaptation of an online game, telling the story of Gil's adventures in the labyrinth tower. The story of "Tower of Druaga" follows the protagonist Gil, who becomes a Golden Knight to rescue his beloved Kai, captured by the demon Druaga. He battles monsters while striving to reach the top of the 60-story "Tower of Druaga." Since its development in the 1980s, it gained immense popularity, and this anime features an original story set in the world of the original work's 80s. The animation is directed by Takashi Chiaki, known for works like "Blue Submarine No. 6" and "Last Exile," and the series composition is by Shoji Gatoh, known for the anime adaptation of "Full Metal Panic!" and the scripts of "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" and "Lucky Star." Character design is handled by popular animator Ugetsu Wakirei, and Masanori Endo, who oversaw the original animation production, will also participate as a supervisor.
