Like the children in the world, Santiago (played by Kuno Becker) has a dream of becoming a professional football player. However, living in the poverty-stricken area of Los Angeles, he is just a poor kid from Mexico, and becoming a professional footballer is merely a dream for him. Until one day, fate opens the door for Santiago, and Newcastle United in the English Premier League welcomes him. Suddenly, Santiago becomes part of the likes of Alan Shearer, Martin Tyler, and David Beckham. The happiness comes too quickly, leaving Santiago feeling lost; the training as a professional player is far more challenging than anything he has experienced. Faced with setbacks and challenges, Santiago moves forward towards his dream of becoming a football star.
