BoBo (played by James Wolk) suffers from a congenital form of Tourette's syndrome, a severe spasmodic condition that causes him to uncontrollably twist his neck and emit strange sounds. This peculiar behavior has left him misunderstood by those around him from a young age, with teachers often criticizing him and classmates mocking him, while even his father is deeply disappointed. Only his mother has been his steadfast support, and her persistence and encouragement allow him to struggle onward in a world of normalcy. However, facing a world that does not understand him, BoBo continues to grapple with pain. It isn't until the principal cleverly reveals BoBo's true situation during a school assembly that he gains a steadfast dream of becoming a caring teacher, despite the doubts and setbacks he faces in pursuing this goal due to his condition. He remains committed to his dream, silently working hard to find a school that will accept him, never abandoning hope or faith. As he persists, the twisted path of his life begins to improve... The film is based on the true story of Brad Cohen.
