Anthony (Matthias Schweighöfer) and Paul (Florian David Fitz) are childhood friends who have been inseparable since they were young. They have gone through many experiences together, and their friendship is unbreakable. After becoming adults, they start a company together. On the day they secure a very generous investor, the company throws a grand party to celebrate. During the festivities, the excited Anthony and Paul decide to make a bet, wagering fifty percent of the company shares. They both give up everything they have, returning to a state of having nothing. Each day, they can reclaim one item from what they possess, continuing this cycle to see who can last longer; the first one to give up is the loser.
