At the age of twenty-seven, Haiqizai Xintai (voiced by Ono Kensho) finds his life in a dead end. He resigns from a job after only three months, fails twice in the postgraduate entrance exams, and repeatedly faces setbacks in his quest for a job that can support him. Xintai doesn't know or want to know what awaits him in the future. One day, while wandering the streets in despair, he encounters a mysterious man named Yamei Ryo (voiced by Kimura Ryohei), who invites him to participate in a seemingly ominous experiment. Faced with the temptation of great benefits and the promise of being able to find a job, Xintai, filled with doubts, begins to waver. As required, Xintai will take a mysterious pill that will revert him back to his seventeen-year-old appearance, and he must re-enroll in his senior year of high school for a year-long experiment. Thus, Xintai returns to campus; what kind of life awaits him here?
