The flirtatious police officer Guo Jialun (played by Ng Dai Wai) is assigned to a team with his ex-girlfriend Rona (played by Lisa S). Rona still harbors feelings about their breakup years ago. A female student commits suicide by jumping off a building, and a girl witness informs Guo and Rona that she saw an old woman push the jumper and provides a sketch. Soon after, the witness faces an accident but survives, only to dream of the elderly figure encouraging suicide—"Dragon Granny" (played by Roland). Guo Jialun receives a lead in the police station: a former officer suffered a mental breakdown while investigating similar suspected suicide cases. Guo and Rona visit this former colleague, Kwan Tak Ying (played by Huang Zihua). Kwan reveals the existence of a "Suicide Manual" and how to meet Dragon Granny. The witness ultimately commits suicide. Guo and Rona release Kwan to assist in the investigation, and they discover a bookstore connected to Dragon Granny and her "Suicide Manual."
