Lawyer's wife Kajinai Yoko (played by Kenta Kyoko) enrolls in an art school to alleviate the monotony of life and meets the rich heiress Tokumitsu Mitsuko (played by Wakae Fumiko). Yoko is drawn to Mitsuko's beauty, and during painting class, she unknowingly paints a portrait of her. Rumors spread in school, and feeling ashamed, Yoko unexpectedly encounters Mitsuko, who is very friendly. The two gradually develop a romantic relationship. While Yoko is absorbed in this romance, she discovers that Mitsuko is seeing a younger man—Miuma Eiichiro (played by Kawazu Yusuke). Yoko agrees to share Mitsuko with Miuma, but the shameless Miuma reveals their affair to Yoko's husband Kotaro (played by Funakoshi Eiji), causing Kotaro to become suspicious of his wife's relationship with her friend. Yoko and Mitsuko decide to fake a suicide and pregnancy to evade scrutiny. However, even Kotaro develops inappropriate feelings for Mitsuko, complicating the relationship among the three, and they become willing to be played with by her...
